What Can Your Association Do For You?
Available Ministries to Churches
Pastor Search Committee Training – I am available to help train and equip search committees to go through the process of organizing as a committee, evaluating resumes, interviewing candidates, and calling a new pastor.
Deacon Training/Deacon Ordination - I often go to our Churches of the Association to be a part of the Deacon Ordaining Counsel and Service. I often preach at these or bring a charge to the deacons and the Churches. We enjoy being a part of this and feel free to call us to help you in any of these areas.
Pulpit Supply - I am often available to supply or preach at special occasions. Contact the Associational Office for information. We also can refer the names of other available preachers for supply.
Transitional Pastor – I work with several talented men who are called to help Churches in transition. We are very blessed to be in an area where many retired pastors live as well as those who feel called to help Churches who have lost a pastor.
Connecting the Churches - I will always try to help you to connect to other Churches that have resources that you need to make your Church a viable and active ministry. Feel free to call me if you have questions about how you can be a good steward of your Churches assetts or if you feel you need to be missional in giving away materials that you have. Sharing knowledge and materials is a mark of good stewardship.
Calling Out The Called - Any time we can help give special emphasis for individuals to respond to God’s call to vocational Christian service, I would call it a priveldge to come and be a part of a service like this. If you would like for me to preach or just be a part feel free to call.
