THE HOLIDAYS ARE NEARLY HERE!

The leaves are falling and the mornings are nice and cold.  In a few weeks we will be celebrating Thanksgiving and then Christmas.  It is funny how you think about this time of year in the summer and then before you know it they are here.  This time of year is so beautiful with all the fall colors and just the coolness in the air.  We really do live in a great part of the country because we have four very distinct seasons.  As this time approaches we realize even more the ones who live around us that are in need.  Our daughter, Penny who lives in North Carolina is not coming home for Thanksgiving so she and several others are going to work in a soup kitchen that morning and then they are inviting people to their home that don't have a place to go.  Zackary our son and his wife Jennifer are living in Alaska and they will be reaching out and ministering to the ones in their village that need Jesus.  Wherever we are and whatever we are doing we need to remember to reach and minister to those who don't have.  Jesus was all about people.  That is the best example we have.  Bless you this coming season and remember to touch someone in the name of "Jesus."
